"Z" Is For Zinnias

As the last summer-like days fade, the gardens are cleared and prepared for the long winter ahead. Little treasures are found...

This tiny bouquet has lasted for over two weeks in a favorite little jug.

  7. Pat, I used to grow zinnias every year, but haven't done it since we've been out here. An arrangement of zinnias can be homey, or ultra contemporary! What a perfect flower!

  15. Does that mean because you are at Z, you're done? Love the zinnias! Glad someone had some flowers. I was a little short on blooms this year!

  16. If I had a dollar for every time I've said 'I wish I'd planted zinnias this year' I'd be rich!

  17. I LOVE Zinnias! They make such beautiful colorful cut flowers and I love to have them in the garden, cuz more blooms keep blooming :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!
I goofed up on my link so after I re-posted it, Dawn so sweetly added me back to the list. But I didnt delete the original post, so that I could keep the lovely comments, such as yours. Keeping happily busy with many art and calligraphy orders and of course work at the dental clinic, so was not able to link up to Ms. Jenny's wonderful alphabe-thursday this week. Once I catch up with the art and calligraphy (commissioned to do calligraphy for wedding envelopes), I will be doing more of the civil war blocks :o)

  19. Pat honey, you totally get it. People ask me why I don't post on decorating etc. and that is NOT what I think is important. I like a lovely, serene home filled with flowers, creativity, light, and love, but what I HAVE is not important...

    Love,

    Sharon

  20. Zinnias are one of my favorite flowers! They are so determinedly happy!

How can anyone resist those sunshiny blossoms?!?

I have some lovely button type zinnias in the garden now and a little jug sitting on my desk as I write this!

It makes me smile to know that you are looking at the same thing!

    Thanks for a sweet link!

I hope to Z you again soon!

    A+
