Fun with fabric....

If you are a quilter, you will understand this photo -

Brand new fat quarters in the making - oh yes, I spent the day helping out at a new LQS that is getting ready to open soon. That is a little stack I cut in preparation for folding. We had a nice assembly line going and got to ooh and ah at all the pretties....

These were just a couple of little prints which went on my wish list - taken with my iPhone - color is a little off

Am going back on Monday - 100's of bolts to prep - it's a tough job but some one has to do it:o)

And yesterday our small stitching group got together - lots of catching up to do after the holidays. I wanted to share this container my friend, Dee, received for Christmas from her daughter.

Filled with fat quarters -

Doesn't it just put a grin on your face?!!!

Wishing you a fun-filled weekend. Back later

Pat

I am a huge fan of fat quarters! My quilt shop has coupons for each month and at least 1 or two are sales on fat quarters like 20 fat quarters for $30. I make sure to get there and select all my favorites then bundle them away sometimes in combinations I would like to try.

I'm not a quilter, but I understand the pleasure of working with fabric, preparing for future projects and dreaming in fabric patterns and colours. That bag is very cute!

That is a lot of temptation there...hope you can resist. It is fun working in a quilt shop and seeing all the latest.
