Wedding by the pond.....

It is said that if it rains on your wedding day, your life will be filled with blessings. There was a good old fashioned downpour after the ceremony that brought enough blessings for our David and Jena that will last ten lifetimes and more!
Want to share just a few images of this day that was filled with abundant happiness...
Just before the guests started to arrive - we are ready!

The gorgeous (and delicious!) wedding cake - carefully covered in tulle....

The wedding party - all 3 ladies in buttercup yellow from Wisconsin and Jena, David and the groomsmen from Alaska...

TheWedding Quilt....

All is growing more quiet around Taylorsoutback...family and friends have returned to their homes or are flying back to their respective coasts. We each carry on our memories and images...Whenever I hear Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli sing The Prayer, it will take me to a beautiful day in June when the Processional began and we were all together to witness the marriage of our son David and his Jena, whom we now proudly and lovingly know as our daughter (in-law)...

  3. What a lovely wedding. So glad it turned out so well ....even with the rain and the promise of many blessings. I'll bet it feels like it all over way too quickly, but now life can return to normal. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

The quilt is stunning - so glad I could enlarge the photo to see some detail. You must be so very pleased that all went well for your son and daughter-in-law. Now you can sit back, look at the photos and re-live a lovely day!
