Quilting of an evening...

...after a picture perfect day here at the edge of the woods at Taylorsoutback...is there anything better than a day in June when blue skies and puffy clouds bring temperatures of 70...how I wish for this all year...

Arctic lupines in full bloom and keeping watch over my young herb plants...

The sewing room beckons - windows open to fresh air that is so soft and still as the sun sets...a gentle drift of music from a favorite Pandora station...

And slow, steady progress doing machine stippling on my Mountmellick quilt..

All in all, a lovely evening, treasured, because they don't happen too often these days...

Wishing you a gentle evening to do what you will...

  5. Oh My Gosh, I love Lupins! I am jealous! I keep trying to grow these (bought 4 plants last year)
nothing this year. They are beautiful! I live in Indiana so our climate is not so different. What is
your secret? Have you ever read Miss Rumphius? It refers to the Lupin Lady. Love your description
about your evening. Those are nice times.
