Stars at midnight....

...well, 12:10 a.m. to be exact...all 36 stars for the last pieced border in my Mystery Quilt - Mountmellick by Di Ford...and the last 4 hexies needed for the corners...whew! Planning a little time away in the RV next week and this project will go along - hoping to get all the stars appliqued to the background...

Taking a Mother's Day meal to my Mom and Dad at the nursing home on Sunday and wishing all the other Mom's out there a day with loved ones.

Great fussy-cut centers on your stars and hexies!
Sounds like a nice plan for Mother's Day--I'll bet they will appreciate that.

Don't the stars look so pretty piled up together? The red centres are perfect. Enjoy your day with your parents, And your road trip. X

Dah, Dah ,Dah! That's a fan fare if you couldn't tell. Yea, for getting the stars and hexies done. Have fun appliquéing them down. That's the easy part!

Love your little flowers and how sweet of you to take a good meal to mom and dad. I wish I had thought of that instead of a flowering plant, but then I know my mom will enjoy the beautiful color of the geraniums. Happy Mothers Day to you.

You certainly have a lot of work ahead of you!!.......but I love the colours and look forward to seeing the finished piece.
What a lovely thing to go for your mum and dad. We took my parents out for brunch today - we were four generations and it was a treat!
