Less you think my hands have been idle during all The Wedding preparations -
After much trial and error - this beaded purse was finished for Jena to keep lipstick, etc. in during the wedding reception...
My earlier knitting projects have been done on slightly larger needles - Like these.....
However, working with size 00 needles was quite an adventure - my hands would cramp up when I first started out but gradually after learning to relax and getting a rhythm going it became an enjoyable project. Then a quick tote bag to hold Jena's miscellaneous wedding day necessities since the wedding party will be getting ready at the house.
The tutorial is at http://www.bijoulovelydesigns.com/2010/05/market-tote-tutorial.htmlAnd my own little Brigitte Giblin - http://www.brigittegiblin.com.au/ hexie purse is done - just in time to go to the Bridal Shower today...
And icing on the cake this weekend as we all gather to celebrate Mom and Dad's 70th Wedding Anniversary and Dad's 95th birthday. So much excitement and blessings and it just keeps getting better....Wedding Day countdown... One week to go!!! Taking a blogging break for now - things are going to be quite busy around Taylorsoutback!!!!!Wishing each of you a beautiful Holiday weekend and remember to pause in reflection of what Memorial Day means to each of us and the sacrifices made by so many in service to our country.
