3rd week into The Big Leap...

Keeping up with Doreen's February SAL...and ready for the final reveal...

Also took a few minutes to double check that my on-the-go project pouch was ready. Mr. Outback gets to have his 3rd nerve block for a troublesome neck/spine area first thing tomorrow morning. We have an early wake up call to be at the hospital by 7:45 am. and we live about 45 minutes away. While he gets to have all that fun stuff done, I hope to do a little more stitching on my Benjamin Biggs border. I would much rather stitch while worrying rather than choosing between 3 year old magazines or a TV tuned to some silly program in the waiting room. It is much better to find a quiet little chair near good light...

Wishing each of you a good week as we head towards the end of another month and Spring is one step closer for our part of the world.

Pat

Good luck for tomorrow, and yes, some stitching will definitely soothe your nerves while you wait.

Positive thoughts are with you--I have an early wake up call myself. Good choice on choosing quiet corner

By now you are probably on the road or in the waiting room, stitching. You and I think alike. Whenever I go to Edmonton I spend a morning in the hospital with my son as he has his chemo. I always have a 'take with me' bag of cross stitch. It keeps me occupied in the most pleasant way, and is always a conversation-starter. I look forward to seeing the finished project!

I hope Mr. Outback is doing well after his procedure.
So smart to pack a sewing project with you.
How exciting that you are down to the borders now of Ben Biggs!
Your fabrics are beautiful for your Big Leap, looking forward to the big reveal.

I hope your DH's procedure went well. I, too, agree that stitching is a much better way to pass the time away than reading magazines that yor really aren't interested in or watching soaps or game shows or worse. I can't wait to see you Irish Chain and love the scallop on your applique.

I hope everything went well with your DH’s procedure. I agree I like to find a quite spot to stitch while i am waiting at the hospital.
Those televisions drive me nuts.
Your BB border is looking so pretty.

Wise to have a take along project. Helps pass the time. I hope all is well and you are home stitching away in comfort.
Take care!
