...into March! I liked the larger size setting so much that Doreen posted for her February SAL - The Big Leap...well, just had to make up the additional blocks. Here I was feeling like a little miss smarty pants for having all the blocks done for the smaller version. But who out there can tell me they have never changed horses midstream?
Meanwhile, of an evening, next to the fire, hand quilting continues on the Cherry Tree quilt...have made great progress the last month and close to starting on the last five blocks & then easy coasting on a simple plan for the borders...my goal to finish this 5+Year Odyssey is by May...
Back later - after I finish leaping...
Pat
Oh, I'm glad you're leaping forward with the larger Irish Chain. We all change horses in the middle of the stream! Your hand quilting is gorgeous. The end is in sight.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Pat. I am knitting in the evenings and am almost finished my Hudson Bay inspired blanket. I will have to come up with a new project quickly, as I don't like to sit with out something to work on!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your expanded project. : )
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is beautiful! Won't that feel good to have completed that gorgeous quilt!?!
Wonderful that you are making the larger version quilt!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing all the blocks for it.
I'm sure it's going to turn out gorgeous.
