This week over at Miss Jenny's, our class letter is "E" - so the little set of matching Eye balls has made a return...
You might remember them from back in October when I had the first cataract surgery...had the left eye done on Tuesday of this week and now have a matched set...so brighter days ahead and hoping for clearer vision. Just a smooth, quick procedure - all of 10 minutes or so, a little cup of ginger ale with a straw to speed me on my way and a huge pair of dark sunglasses to dampen the glare off the white snow.
Today is dedicated to doing a few more simple Christmasy tasks - and doctor says no snow shoveling for a week...aw shucks:o)
Be sure to visit the other "E" postings for Alphabe-Thursday.
Wishing everyone days filled with clarity and light.
Back soon...
I'm so happy for you Pat - this second procedure will have you stitching again in no time!
ReplyDeleteI had to smile at your comment on the little ceramic tree. I can't believe that it made it through all our moves, across Canada, up and down the USA and back and forth to Germany twice. There was a time when I wasn't fussy about it but now I treasure it!
I do hear in your words how sorry you are not to be allowed to shovel snow! Such a shame but I have a feeling you'll get over it. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike! I am happy your surgery was successful. Thanks for stopping by. xo
ReplyDeleteHey, hey, hey don't be so glum about not getting to shovel snow, TO! I feel certain that you will have more than your chance to shovel! Glad your eyes are behind you and now you can look ahead to brighter days. Take good care, TO! You'll be back doing Christmas tasks quick. Love your banner! xxoo Nancy

ReplyDeleteI was told yesterday that it won't be long before I have to have the same thing done. So pleased it sounds relatively easy with such good results!
ReplyDeleteYay for you!! I know several people who've had their cats removed and all were much happier after having done so. Sounds like you are on your way to blissfuly clear-seeing eyes!!
