Hi everyone - still enjoying the beauty and wonder of the 49th state. Just a brief posting as wi-fi is so iffy.
Wanted to share a very fun evening my daughter-in-law, Jena and I had last Saturday at the home of Alaska Art Experience.
Jena is 2nd from the left and I am 2nd from the right..

A group of us learned how to paint on silk scarves - Gina, our instructor, is an artist of many talents and loves to use silk as one of her mediums. We painted creekside with the sound of rushing water as our music. A perfect Alaskan evening...new friends, a lovely meal and a unique memory to bring home.
Our return journey begins next week - wish we could stay longer...

ReplyDeleteJust talked with my 91-year-old father last week about any places he may regret having not seen (he traveled a lot the last 10 years of employment). He named Alaska. Wish I could have taken him while he was still able to travel. I'd love to see it, too. This looks so fun!
